All Safe Yachting was founded by Devlin Cathey and Sean Ives, combining firsthand experience across yacht operations, onboard service, technical systems, and commercial yachting.
Devlin began his career as a yacht chef before moving into yacht charter sales and brokerage, giving him a clear understanding of both life onboard and the expectations of owners and clients. Sean’s background brings deep operational and technical insight, with a focus on how vessels function, how crews operate under pressure, and where critical gaps in safety and communication can arise.
Together, they built All Safe Yachting from real-world experience—not theory.
The idea for ASY was shaped by a defining moment. Devlin personally knew Paige Bell, a young crew member whose life was tragically lost while working at sea. That loss, and the ongoing connection with her family, became a driving force behind creating a system that could help prevent future incidents.
All Safe Yachting exists to bring structure, accountability, and real-time visibility to safety, security, and crew wellbeing onboard. It provides crews with practical tools to report concerns, track rest, log incidents, and raise alerts when it matters most—while giving owners and managers clear, defensible oversight of their vessels.
The mission is simple: raise the standard across the maritime industry.
To create safer working environments for crew, reduce risk for owners, and ensure that safety, wellbeing, and accountability are not optional—but built into the way every vessel operates.
Because at sea, prevention isn’t a feature. It’s a responsibility.
